Our Story: Ministry in Review
The Past
While training for the Lord’s service at Ambassador Baptist College
it was evident that the Lord’s hand was on Brother Richard. He was named the
recipient of the prestigious Hand Revival Ministries Scholarship given to the
student showing the greatest promise in Evangelism and he was chosen by the
faculty to preach in the baccalaureate service.
From this promising beginning the Lord has continued to bless
Determined Ministries. Since graduating in May of 1996 the Lord has opened doors
for Richard to conduct over 500 multi-day, local church revivals, in 31 states
and seven countries. The Lord has use Richard’s Bible filled “preaching of the
cross” to convict thousands of their need for salvation.
The Present
2010 is the seventh straight year in which the Lord has allowed Determined
Ministries to schedule over 40 revivals. The Lord has also bountifully blessed
in that the Harpers have seen people come to Christ in almost every meeting so far this
year. Brother Harper also continues to serve as
President of the Ambassador Baptist College Alumni Association.
After
3 years of traveling with us the Brennemans havel moved on to their own ministry.
We will miss them but our prayers will go with them as they continue to serve
the Lord. In the Fall of last year we welcomed Glenn Stevenson to
our team. Glenn graduated from Ambassador Baptist College in May,2009 and
began traveling with us in August of that year. He brings his excitement and
fervor to the ministry as well as his pulpit and musical skills. He will
be a tremendous asset to the services. Glenn's skill as a ventriloquist
will also be a great blessing in the Kid's Club meetings. He will be a
blessing to each church in which he ministers.
The Future
The 2011 schedule is comfortably full and is already shaping up to be the
busiest year yet in full-time Evangelism for Determined Ministries and 2012
continues to fill up. As they go forward in the future. The desire of Determined
Ministries is to serve the Lord while serving fundamental Pastors in their local
churches.
